Cathy Moon
A marketing graduate of UW-Whitewater, Cathy Moon caught the real estate ‘bug’ early on. She loved looking at homes and seeing the potential to improve them for current lifestyles. In 2005 she bought her first property with the goal of refurbishing and reselling it. She loved the end result so much that she decided to keep it as a rental property. That led to the start of her real estate career as she continued to buy and refurbish investment properties. Cathy and her husband Jim, who works in the building industry, have built two of the three homes in which they’ve lived.
Cathy believes this is why she’s become so successful helping buyers find their dream home. She works hard to help clients “see beyond all the stuff’ in a property and recognize when it’s a diamond in the rough. Cathy also helps sellers realistically decide what updates and improvements will be necessary before putting out the For Sale sign. She is well qualified to help customers interested in buying investment properties because her personal experience has taught her the pitfalls to avoid.
Empty nesters, Cathy her husband live in Genesee where, in addition to refurbishing homes, Cathy also enjoys refurbishing furniture.
